Our trick-or-treating for canned goods collected 280 items for Rock Creek/Korte school's food
pantry. A new record! Great job!
Every member of the youth group attended the Festival of Sharing at Sedalia. Backpacks of love were
packed for Missouri children abruptly taken from the homes and placed in the foster system. Beans
were rebagged from 100 pound bags into 2 pound bags for Missouri food pantries. Hygiene kits were
packed for women in the Missouri Correctional System. Our work was just some of the many things
going on at the festival to help individuals around the world.

You were definitely God's hands and feet during our mission trip to Sikeston. I was so proud of you!
I know that the day's may have been long and hot but you endured and accomplished. Along side North
Hills UMC, 1) you finished the tearing out of moldy sheet rock in the kitchen pantry, putting up new
sheetrock, painting, and building a shelf, 2) you completely reorganized their community food pantry, 3)
you cooked lunch and served 40-50 people daily, 4) you scrapped off plaster and paint in the wing under
construction, and 5) tore off most of the remaining flake board and tin roof on the wing under
construction. You also got to experience a little about homelessness while sleeping in our "box city".
Great Job!

Who knew we were going to have a huge snow storm the day you were to help carry food boxes for
people at Angel Food distribution? But you did a great job and you did it with a smile! You even
expanded your ministry that day by shoveling snow at nine different locations. You certainly had your
angel wings on that day.
